Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, Office of Income Maintenance, PC Rollout Project

In the four-month window from December 2000 to March 2001, PCCi provided project management services to the Pennsylvania DPW as part of the IBM PC Rollout project with a high level of customer satisfaction.
The project management scope spanned over 120 site installations and 10,000 PCs in an extremely tight schedule including management of the following activities:

• Testing and certifying images;  
• Manufacturing  workstations;
• Delivering  equipment just-in-time to locations;
• Transferring data;  
• Cleansing hard disk drives
• De-installing and re-boxing PCs;
• Installing new PCs;
• Transferring user data to new PCs;
• Configuring and customizing user settings;
• Removing and recycling existing PCs in a just-in-time manner; and

Tracking and verifying serial and asset numbers.
