Community Service and Charitable Contributions
The PCCi team is proud to invest its skills, time, and financial resources to benefit the local community.
PCCi doesn't just recommend community service, the entire company works to provide both money and time to better our communities. Employees support numerous charitable organizations such as American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, New Hope Ministries, Palmyra Food Bank, Hershey Theater, United Way, York SPCA and -Girl Scouts of America, In Ian's Boots, and Toys for Tots to name a few.
Deb Pierson is a board member of and currently serves as Chairwoman of the Board for the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Pennsylvania. A member of the fund development and public policy committees, she is actively involved in educating the public on legislative and funding issues on a grass roots level and a state-wide platform while working with the Alzheimer's Association toward a world free of this devastating disease. PCCi is a proud sponsor of the Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's that is held yearly on City Island in Harrisburg, PA.
As a woman-owned enterprise, Deb is passionate about lending guidance and assisting women in business. PCCi is the founding corporate guild member of Dress for Success South Central PA, a non-profit organization that offers services to help women re-enter the workforce and maintain employment. Women are referred to the organization by partner non-profit programs and government agencies including homeless shelters, immigration services, and domestic violence shelters that offer job training and job-ready programs.
Because they understand the importance of family unity, sportsmanship, and the value of providing a bright and promising future for our community's children, PCCi's employees support the Silver Spring Youth Baseball Association. The company recently provided funds for the purchase of a field groomer and field grooming enclosed trailer as well as a field sponsorship at the new Stoney Ridge Baseball Park on Bernheisel Bridge Road in Silver Spring Township.
PCCi is a multiple year champion of Memory Ride for Alzheimer's Research -a cycling event that has raised more than $1.3 million over the past 15 years for Alzheimer's Research. In addition to providing more than $65,000 in financial sponsorship since Memory Ride's founding in 1996, PCCi provides financial and administrative hours that have totaled over 6,000 staff hours to date.
